Baby You're a Firework! (10 months old)

This was a busy month!!  Our little firecracker turned 10 months old on July 5th.  Ricky still loves pointing at everything! Now he makes a big circle with his little pointer finger when he points out the fan as it spins around.  Ricky is aware of all the stars in his room and loves pointing them all out if you ask him.  It is fun to ask him where things are, like his truck, the window, the cookie jar, etc. because he looks around and finds them.  Hunter brought over a monster truck for Ricky, and it is his new favorite...especially when daddy makes it drive right up his legs.  Rick Enzo also loves the little wooden people that drive his trucks- the school bus and the mail truck are his favorites now.  He is starting to show more interest in books, still mostly chewing them, but pointing at the images as well.  He loves balls!  Ricky chases them around since he can't play catch yet.  But, Ricky has a good arm, and does a lot of throwing with all these toys.  When we sing shake shake shake, he will shake his toys that make noise.  He likes to bang with his hands too, like a drum, on any little container we give him.  Maybe he'll be in a band!  He sure does like music, and still rocks and wiggles when a song he likes comes on.  That's one of the reasons Ricky loves Fat Rosie's (besides the guac)- they play really loud fun music.  He entertains everyone by bouncing in his highchair and smiling at people eating next to us.  Ricky waves hi and bye now, too.  We practice waving out the front window every time Mommy or Daddy go to work.  He is still a nosey neighbor and always wants to see whats happening, so Ricky has been taking a little cruise around the block every morning in his car.  Rick Enzo shows mommy all the fire hydrants and every flag in the neighborhood.  He enjoys waving to the doggies on their morning walk, as well.
By the end of the month, Ricky was ready to compete in a strong man competition!  Good luck finding a chair to sit on, because Rick Enzo pushes them across the whole house.  He is close to walking on his own, and he has become a good climber.
New Favorite Song: Eric Church "Desperate Man"   Still loves Baby Shark
Activities: Pulls up faster and easily, side shuffles across window ledge & couch, hands and knees crawling mostly; using kitchen chairs as "walkers"
First Fever: Rick Enzo had Roseola, a mild virus with a high fever followed by a rash.  He took it like a champ, and was only on the bench for 3 or 4 days.
New Favorite Foods: pickles, and kiwi!
Mommy's Favorite:  Ricky gives mama kisses now....big open mouth smiley ones
Daddy's Favorite:  watching the 4th of July Parade with Ricky, especially the go carts
